Rezumat

The article deals with the problem of teaching elementary schoolchildren to spell words with unverifiable orthograms. At presentthe current situation at school is that words with unverified orthograms are learned by elementary schoolchildren without any explanation from the teacher. It is necessary to use such methods of memorizing words with unverifiable orthograms that would intensify the mental activity and memory of elementary schoolchildrenat the Russian language and literaturelessons at school. These are: spelling, mnemonic techniques, association techniques, etymological analysis of the word, etc.
