This work describe the method of preparation of new 1,4-naphthoquinone derivatives from 2-hydroxy-juglone and aldehydes in the presence of Hantzsch esther. Different aromatic (anisic, vanillinic, 4-N, N-dimethylamine benzaldehyde) and aliphatic (citronellal) carbonyl compounds were chosen as objects. In the case of aromatic aldehydes, the addition to 2- hydroxyjuglone took place with the formation of the target products. In the case of using citronellal as a reagent, the reaction proceeds with the formation of three new compounds |
