Heinrich Heine and Mikhail Lermontov are contemporary poets, representatives of different literary traditions. Their fates are not similar, but their works have a lot of similarities. Expressions of love and sense of love are the complex phenomena for each of the poets: the love for a woman brings them joy and suffering, and love for the country tormented them, it expresses their attitude to the social order in Germany and Russia. |
