Rezumat

A comparative study of the chemical activity of inorganic substances under conditions of electric discharge in a liquid has been carried out. It has been shown that the electric discharge in water is accompanied by formation of chemically active particles possessing oxidizing properties and that the electric discharge action results in an increase in the oxidation power of inorganic substances dissolved in water. These data should be taken into account for development of discharge–pulse technologies.
