Modern and contemporary historiography is based on the premise that the creation of Moldovan state was a component part of a general process of the medieval statal formations’ creation in the space between Carpatians, Danube and Nistru, which in the
IX-XIII centuries went through the stages of agrarian community unions (countries) of the principality ruled by prince. For the Moldovan country historians underline the period of 1359-1365 when it gained its independency towards the Hungary Kingdom, becoming a unifying centre in the East of Carpatians involving in its composition politic formations which appeared until this period. |
