Rezumat

In essence, the article reflects important aspects that determine the professional evaluation of public functionary shall be integrated into performance management. Thus, the professional evaluation of public functionary is held in a given time period, usually a year. Therefore the annual performance appraisal is the procedure by which staffing is determined by the level of performance of individual objectives and the level of professional skills and behavioural characteristics of the public servant, in order to evaluate the results achieved and identify professional development needs.
