Project management is the application of a system of procedures and practices, technologies and knowledge with the purpose of planning, organization, coordination, monitoring and control of running processes. IT project management meets the same basic requirements on the necessary skills but, as for any other field, there are some particularities to be taken into account when projects management processes are designed and planned. The emergency and the necessity of an IT project appears within a complex funding programme, which in majority of cases will also contain IT components. |
