Rezumat | |||||
The Running Records is one of the most popular informal assessments of reading comprehension undertaken in schools. This strategy allows teachers to analyse specific patterns in student behaviours and plan appropriate instruction. A Running Record is not just the documentation of right and wrong words, but also observing all behaviours of the student in order to determine the “thinking process” while reading the text. In order to plan appropriately instruction for a given student it is necessary to calculate the Percent of Accuracy and the Self-Correction Rate, also to elaborate a sample of Running Record sheet. |
