Rezumat

The European Union Policy System implies a large variety of definitions and all of them derives from the double meaning of the concept of European Union which is meant to be an overstates institution which can function only through the decision of guvermental institutions. The European Union is a system which is organized after a plan that was accepted by all the member states especially through The Maastricht Treaty. Even if what we nowdays call The European Union is a result of the European states’ effort to protect their security after the end of the Second World War, The European Union became more and more important after 1990. The power of The Union strengthened when most of the member states accepted Euro as their common currency, in 1999.
