This paper investigates one of the topical issues in the Republic of Moldova namely e-government. E-government is a concept that reflects the improvement of public administration through the use of new information technologies, allowing to eventually increase its effectiveness in providing services to the public. At present, the Republic of Moldova has created favorable conditions for rapid and large-scale introduction of modern information technology in government. We switched to the provision of public services through the Internet, through the creation of an electronic portal. The portal is available for about 189 services from more than 500 services offered by the central public administration authorities, and 11 services are already available in electronic format. Public access to government data of a public character is an innovative initiative in the government, civil society and communities to information and communication technologies (ICT) worldwide. It deals with the online publication of government data in a standard format.
