Higher education is declared a national priority. The activity of the Ministry of Education is focused on the adjustment oh Higher education system to the European standards. In the Republic of Moldova, higher education for all citizens, irrespective of their nationality, gender, social origin, religion, place of residence, guarantees equal access. Admission to higher education institutions is based on competition. The admission is provided according to the Regulation of Admission approved by the Ministry of Education. The process of admission is not centralized. Each institution appoints an admission Committee consisting of representatives of the teaching staff and of the officials. |
