The role of labour inspection in any country is to promote compliance with the national law of employment, as well as good practices to achieve the basic rights of workers, the socio-economic balance and effective relationships as a basis for the establishment of a constructive social dialogue and, consequently, of a favourable investment climate. The main personnel that must perform the tasks of labour inspection are labour inspectors. Labour inspection and labour inspectors are part of the executive power, and their mission is to support the development of social and labour relations in the right direction.
