Rezumat

All over the world, there exists a well defined mediation practice for over 20 years. In Moldova, the Law on Mediation was adopted in June 2007. The mediation is a way of settling disputes amicably, with a third party specializing in mediation, in terms of neutrality, impartiality, confidentiality, adversarial and equal parties. The mediation is based on the confidence which the parties have in the mediator, the person able to facilitate negotiations between them and support them in resolving the dispute, by finding a mutually agreed, efficient and sustainable solution.
