Potable water demand is increasing as world population increases, but domestic water, industrial water and chemicals used in agriculture such as fertilizers and pesticides are the main cause of pollution. In Moldova, combating pollution has become a major problem. To solve the process and groundwater pollution several laws have been adopted which condemn solutions and factors causing pollutants. Environmental issues and the state for pollution and combating is a national problem and the state decides which rules of conduct, including environmental protection to adopt. Preventing and combating pollution of surface and ground water will take effect only when the world will help the environment.
