The present world is changing at a tremendous pace and new phenomena and notions appear every day. The political system is not an exception. The events that shook the world at the end of the XX and beginning of the XXI centuries left a print in the world history and have been reflected in language as well. Thus, the active vocabulary of the modern citizen is filled with neologisms that rather often cannot even be found in specialized dictionaries. The present article aims at listing and explaining the etymology of some of the most recent neologisms in the field of political science and international relations.
