A title is part of a media text, namely a press release, which is highlighted typographically. The aim of the title is to attract the reader's attention and, as such, it represents an essential element of the text. The title has an intratextual relation with the other parts of the text, and is often characterized by deviations from standard language, by originality and expressiveness. There are several typologies of titles. We exploited the classification of texts in informative and appellative and we analyzed both syntactic and lexical means of writing titles.
