| Rezumat | ||||||
The higher education plays a key role in economic development. There is a need for professionals across all sectors; doctors, teachers, engineers will be vital to society future success, higher education being central to producing these professionals. Although many economies in the region are currently recovering from the recent financial crisis, investments in higher education will continue to be important. The higher education is often the one sector in which there is little cost sharing, with government financing all, or almost all, costs. Universities funding is allocated in the state budget, strategic financing being granted to the universities on the basis of performance agreement negotiation with the ministry. The goal of this study is to briefly present some financial strategies based-on state budget for higher education. |
