The article highlights the role of continuous professional training of teachers in ensuring a quality education. It is argued the need to identify the needs of continuous professional training of school teachers from the perspective of the standards of professional competence. The essential managerial activities leading to the professional development and the stimulation of the performances in the educational institution are described. |
