| Rezumat | ||||||
The Sakhalin penal servitude, which existed from the 1850s to 1905, increased requirements for the living women who, for a number of reasons were forced to prostitute. The worst off were women, voluntarily went to Sakhalin in the Wake of their husbands. Domestic intellectuals have as their objective attracting the attention of the authorities and society to the situation on the island. |
