The article examines the directions and results of the research of the Artesian archaeological expedition of the Moscow Pedagogical State University (MSPU) in 2017 in the Crimean Priazovye. The works of 2017 radically changed the idea of the fortification of the early citadel. At the moment there is enough evidence that the citadel not only had a semi-circular bastion on the south side, but also three northern rectangular towers |
