Rezumat

The chemicothermal treatment of steel products, is widely applied in mechanical engineering and instrument making to increase of corrosion resistance of details of machines, the tools and industrial equipment.   It is known [1] that chemicothermal treatment of surface of steel at anode process of electrolytic heating is carried out in the aqueous solutions containing compounds of nitrogen, %: 1) NH4Cl 10 + NH4OH 5; 2) NH4Cl 11 + NH4NO3 11 at the current density of 1-2 A/cm2 and tension of 150-220 V. As result, the diffusion of nitrogen in metal with formation of a nitride surface layer is occurring. Cooling of a detail happens or in electrolyte after switching off of current, or on air thanks to what on a surface the oxide film is formed. It led to a certain increase of corrosion resistance of details.   However in this case the received nitride layer heterogeneous and insufficient depth, and the oxide film was the small thickness, uneven and insufficient continuity.   New way chemicothermal treatment allows to increase corrosion resistance of details and to create the passive film which is well linked to a surface, antirusting.   Processing of steel products at anode process of electrolytic heating is carried out in the aqueous solutions containing compounds of non-organic nitrogenous substances. Duration - 1-6 minutes in the electrolyte which is in addition containing 0,1-1,0 g/l of thiosemicarbazide H2N-CS-NH-NH2. The subsequent temper of the detail deenergized and taken out from electrolyte carry out in electrolyte of structure, g/l:  monozinc phosphate Zn(H2PO4)2∙2H2O 5-12, nickel sulfate NiSO4 1-6, manganese sulfate MnSO4 0,8-6, phosphoric acid H3PO4 13-30, sodium nitrate NaNO3 2-6, sodium nitrite NaNO2 0,1-0,3 at a temperature of 20-40 0С within 1-20 minutes.   After chemicothermal treatment and tempering the detail is passivated in solution, g/l: caustic soda NaOH 3-7, potassium bichromate K2Cr2O7 15-25 at a temperature of 85-90 0С within 1-5 minutes.   Such way of processing increase of corrosion resistance of details, thanks to simultaneous creation on a surface of a nitride layer and a layer of insoluble ferrous phosphates, manganese and zinc and to forming on them is result of the thin solid passivating film.   Except increase in corrosion resistance of steel products also their working resource raises.
