Rezumat

The viral infection is supplied by non-specific and specific reactions, showing the pluripotency of the induced effects and the necessity of individualized study. The response reactions in different host-pathogen systems were estimated based on cytogenetic results of mitotic and meiotic divisions, activity of some enzymes and expression of genes coupled with stress and pathogenesis. The impact of viral infections in susceptible systems include changes in cell division, disorders of somatic and meiotic recombination, fluctuations of antioxidant enzymes activity, deviations in the expression of genes involved in antioxidant metabolism and pathogenesis-related proteins, being modulated by the type of host reaction to the pathogen.
