Solving economic and ecological problems caused by the action of pests becomes possible by apply biogeocenotic mechanisms of interaction between pests and useful organisms. The activity of Institute for Plant Protection and Ecological Agriculture resulted in the development and approval of biological means of plant protection underlying integrated plant protection. Promotion of organic farming depends on providing environmentally friendly means of plant protection, which range in Moldova yet remains insufficient. This requires the creation of favorable conditions for approval of biological means developed by our researchers and those developed in countries with advanced agriculture. Article contains elucidating problems and finding solutions to cover the needs of organic agriculture in Moldova. |
