Problemele abordate de autori în prezentul articol sunt considerate ca fiind dintre cele mai dificile cu care se confruntă nu numai Federaţia Rusă ca stat unitar multinaţional, ci şi oricare stat din lume pe al cărui teritoriu locuiesc şi convieţuiesc popoare şi grupe de populaţie minoritare. În urma cercetării acestei probleme, autorii au formulat noţiunea juridică de criminalitate etnică. La fel, sunt prezentate motivele comiterii infracţiunilor de către persoane ce fac parte din minorităţile etnice, precum şi căile, modalităţile de combatere a acestora.

The problems tackled by the authors in this article are considered as some of the most difficult problems not only for the Russian Federation as a multinational unitary state, but also for any other state of the world, on the territory of which the peoples and national minorities live. As a result of the research of this problem, the authors formulated the legal notion of „ethnic criminality”. Moreover, the authors present the reasons of appearance, commitment of crimes by the ethnic minorities as well as ways and methods of fighting with them.
