Rezumat

To get new walnut varieties that can be suitable has intensive cultivation, varieties with reduced vigour, early fruiting at a high productive potential determined by the lateral fruiting and produce fruit quality was obtained in the period 1995 - 2000 from seed the ideal variety for a free pollination, more than 480 hybrid was choice including 28 elites. Those - have been planted at a distance of 4/3 in the field of hybrid for a thorough study of their comportment growth and fruiting. The research conducted between 2000 and 2005 showed that 28 of these 15 elite only, 53,6 % have a lateral fruiting. The strong growth expressed by the cross-sectional area of the trunk and the size of the crown is usually reduced. The surface of the trunk section ranged from 43,1 cm2 and 164,2 cm2 in the case of 8-yearold trees, between 44,7 cm2 and 136,9 cm2 in the old trees between 4 and 7 years, 3 cm2 and 25,4 cm2 for trees 6 years. Most hybrids produce fruit quality for 12 of them exceeding the average weight 10,0 g and yield almonds is over 50 %. Based on all the factors taken into account, we revealed that hybrids H 2/5, H 3/4 H 4/4, H 4/10, H 4/12 and H 5 /16 correspond the better the proposed objective. They will be grafted to get biological material necessary to develop culture of competition for approval.
