The article approaches the problem of relations among mass-media, society and policy, emphasizing the significance of the natural function of all the elements of this trinity for a democratic society. When the society is excluded from these relations, mass-media cope or deal only with the politics and in the majority of cases, reducing itself to power enslavement. So, in these circumstances, as the author stresses, the transparency of the governing process suffers a lot and respectively suffers the entire democratic process of the state.
