Small and medium-sized enterprises have an important role in ensuring the stability of the economic development, the increase of the mobility and adaptability of the national economy to the market conditions. They also represent a factor of diversification of the economy. The small and medium-sized business sector in the Republic of Moldova plays an important role in ensuring the economic development and stability, increasing the mobility and adaptability of the national economy to the fluctuating internal and external conditions. The presence of a well-developed small business sector in the economy is particularly important in the context of the structural reform of the economy and the increase in unemployment, phenomena that accompany this process. The goal of small and medium-sized enterprises that are in the game is to change the conditions of competition, forcing economic entities to transform the fundamentals of their competitiveness and economic performance, adapting, in this way, the combination and quality of their production factors to the nature and acceleration of the change. |
