The article explores and justifies the issues of improving the state financial control in Ukraine in the context of globalization changes. The authors emphasize that in order to improve the organization of financial control, it is necessary to use the experience of foreign countries. This will make it possible to improve the existing control system in Ukraine as much as possible. Implementation of the above-mentioned recommendations and proposals will improve the efficiency of management of local budget funds and improve the quality of their treasury services. Improving the efficiency of using budget funds at the local level requires improved management of the budget process and increased accountability of the bodies involved in the implementation of budgets. And in this context, an important tool is control.
