The article aims to present the elements of economic diplomacy and their impact on foreign and domestic investments in the Moldovan economy. The research aims to highlight the most relevant concepts, definitions and classifications of the economic diplomacy. The example of the EU policy on economic diplomacy highlights its impact on the trade and investment generation. Through statistical and empirical analyses were identified the policy background, the institutional framework and the relevant activities in the field of economic diplomacy that positive influenced generation of direct investment in the Republic of Moldova. |
