Rezumat

The aim of article is to elucidate the impact of chronic stress (maternal separation, about 3 h, 10 days) at different stages of early postnatal development on exploratory behavior and general cognitive capacity at puberty. It was shown that stressed rats in early postnatal ontogenesis, at puberty was affected exploratory behavior, which showed by essential decrease of motor activity in open fi eld, especially in center of fi eld, and by reduced exploring of a new object appeared in the known entourage of animal, have general cognitive disorders, which were manifested by the inability to solve the problem of acquiring food in “syringe” test, compared with control rats. It was found that mental defects were more severe in stressed rats on postnatal days 3-12, than on days 13-22. Conclusion is that stress in early postnatal ontogenesis
