Rezumat

In chronic experiments on provided dogs with fi stulas, in the presence of electrodes implanted in various subcortical and cerebral cortex was established that stimulation of the reticular formation simultaneously with the rearrangement of cortical electroencephalogram creates a non-identical effect upon the refl ex activity of the stomach receptors. The latent period of the effect varies from 1-5 seconds, and output effect about 1-5 minutes. The latent period is determined by the duration of stimulation, the activity state of the cerebral cortex as well as the periods of working and resting of the smooth muscle effectors. Caudal Department of RF has a predominantly sympathetic, inhibitory effect on the refl ex activity of the stomach receptors. The infl uence of the rostral division may be as sympathetic as well as parasympathetic facilitating effect upon the interceptive refl exes. The data summation indicates the nature of the refl ex responses of RF stimulation that may form reactions through the involvement of the hypothalamus and other structures of central and peripheral nervous system.
