Rezumat

Liposomes have recently gained much attention in the field of nanomaterial research as templates for the synthesis of nanostructured architecture. In the present work, liposomes prepared by the lipid film hydration technique were used as a template for the electrodeposition of platinum nanospheres on boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrodes. Photon corelation spectroscopy (PCS) and electrophoretic light scattering (ELS) were used to assess the size distribution and zeta potential of the liposome suspensions, while optical microscopy confirmed the presence of spherical vesicles of a relatively uniform size and distribution. Liquid phase deposition and controled potential techniques were employed to facilitate adsorbtion of the liposomes at the electrode surface, and electrodeposition was carried out on H-terminated as well as O-terminated BDD electrodes.
