In the article the author investigates peacemaking process in the modern world, on an example of activities of the CIS and EU. In the last decade the issue of regional initiatives in the sphere of providing an international peace and safety, especially in the form of carrying out peacekeeping operations by regional efforts increased. In this regard the question of prospects of development of the regional CIS and EU mechanism on carrying out peacekeeping operations is actual. |
