Rezumat

The evolution of information and communication technology (ICT) offers new opportunities to improve methods of assessing the knowledge. Using methods similar to those (MC) today are pretty much spread. The popularity of using these methods cannot argue the efficiency of the evaluation procedure. Usually in the literature, although, some negative aspects are open to criticism, the conclusions are not explicitly refers to the efficiency level. When completing the set of options it should take in account, as well, the pedagogical aspects. Allow multiple scoring options, which correspond not only to evaluate the best answer, but also accept other options (with a lower score - less exact answers, but, more or less, close to the truth) This paper presents a case study which shows quite convincingly low efficiency of MC. It is recommended to use web technologies that can substantially influence not only improve the efficiency of evaluating knowledge, but also their deepening.
