A quantum mechanical model is proposed for describing the dynamic localization of a generalized electron in the tetrameric nanoclusters in an external low-frequency electric field, taking into account the electron-vibrational interaction and the polarization effects at its centers and the ligand (carbon) shell. The case of plane-square tetramers with tunnel-connected centers is considered. This model allows to perform a detailed study of the governing role of the electric field, taking into account the contributions of the electron-vibrational interaction and the polarization effects, in the realization of the various electron localization regimes, thereby revealing the ability of a nanocluster of this kind to switch between them. |
