The pharmaceutical market is one of the strategic sectors for the socio-economic development of any country in the world. Therefore, underestimating the importance of innovative methods of establishing drug prices both on the commercial segment, as well as from public authorities, lead to a series of negative consequences of the economic crisis. The prices of drugs increase, the pharmaceutical industry is facing financial difficulties, etc. In this context, the successful development of pharmaceutical companies and of the industry itself as a whole being one of the most important innovative sectors of the economy, has great social importance, therefore, it is necessary to systematize and evaluate the factors that determine the pricing both globally and nationally. It is necessary to determine the particular choice of pricing strategy for pharmaceutical companies, as well as for certain types of medication. |
