The idea of creating a new architecture for supervision of the financial system was motivated by the recent financial crisis, which highlighted the imperfections of this surveillance system as a whole, as well as the impossibility of identifying systemic risks and interconnections between institutions and markets, which threatens the stability of the. These changes have caused objective necessity of developing a new approach to regulation and supervision of institutions operating on the financial services market, and the need for new models of national supervision of financial markets. |
