Energy is a basic necessity for human activity and economic and social development. A lack of energy services is directly correlated with key elements of poverty. The quest for energy will bring new economic and strategic challenges for this sphere. An essential condition for the success of a strategy is to elaborate it so that to maintain its availability regardless of the changes from our society. The strategy determines objectives and goals of the Republic of Moldova energy sector long-term develpopment, its priorities and guideliness, as well as mechanism of the state energy policy at the implementation phases of the strategy ensuaring realization of the stated objectives.
