Successful integration of children in the country of migration was a decisive factor for Moldovan citizens abroad. It is an important step in the stabilization phase registered in the recent years. In their efforts, migrant parents and their children were supported in Italy through policies (educational, social). They were helped thanks to services developed at nationally and locally level. Access to education was facilitated. Migrant children  were enrolled in the Italian schools without institutional impediments. In the research study were used quantitative and qualitative research methods. The achievement of the quantitative study, conducted in 2015 in partnership with the Moldovan Embassy in Italy, was corroborated with data from in-depth interviews conducted with young migrants and their parents living in Italy.
