Rezumat

In this article is represented a brief study of the assistance given to our country by the European Union in the years 2015-2017 on the area of the civil service through the Twinning Project „Support to the Civil Service Modernization in the Republic of Moldova in line with EU best practices”. There are exposed the most important project outcomes and their impact on the modernization of civil service from our country in terms of the 4 components: analyzing and adjusting the normative framework of civil service and institutional capacity building, in line with European best practices; planning, coordination and effective implementation of the national training program in the public service (for public authorities at central and local levels); establish a network of experts in human resources and their capacity building; capacity building of senior civil servants from the public authorities in the Republic of Moldova.
