This article aims to present an analysis, concerning alchemy meanings and fantasy illusion in the poetic discourse of Radu Stanca, from the poem “Baladă studențească”, about perspective and lyrical experience presented through play. We will analyze the baroque poetical space of the burg, with its streets and mysteries, space-matrix, in which are define and identify fantasies, illusions, and artistic creative act. The told story, the obsession search and discovery of the feminine ideal match, the lost identity, the chimera, the image, the feeling of living in suspended space and time, we will discover in the aesthetic structures of mimesis.
