To the history of studying of antique monuments of Western Black Sea region in 1828-29 years. The article is dedicated to the activity of Teplyakov V.G. By the order of the Russian government he was in search of classic antiquities in the area of actions of Russian army on the Balcans in the time of Russian-Turkish war of 1828-29. Thanks to his efforts and to the efforts of other researchers a certain number of ancient monuments was taken out to Russia and was introduced into the scientific usage. |
