Rezumat

In this article, the author identifies scientific and practical gaps in the perception of the phenomenon of labor migration management in the Republic of Moldova. Therefore, the author contributes to the disclosure of the characteristics of labor migration (positive and negative) in the Republic of Moldova. Systematically there are notified the immediate desires and regrets of the migrants (as well as their feelings and resentments for the mother country); and understood the expectations of the migrants and the degree of its fulfillment; the adaptation and nostalgia phases; also understood and rightly translated the needs to blame someone or something etc. The author concludes that at the stage of return and reintegration of the migrants, the process of migration management is a cause-effect type relationship. Migrants are more receptive when their needs and concerns are taken into account. This is a phase that can be achieved through the following steps: to protect the Moldavians living abroad (these are people that need training, guidance and continuous information); to assure a steady communication with the migrants, to capture their desires; to invite migrants to participate as stakeholders, to make them feel important (for example, to develop an association or ministry of migration, in order to represent them on a high-level); mass media is to become more involved in communicating with the migrants; to protect the citizens wherever they are.
