The monograph „Beyond the text: the hypertext” (Chisinău: ARC, 2014, 280 pp.) signed by the Ph.D. Elena Ungureanu focuses on communication issues generated from the online with the support of informational technologies. The topic addressed is a new area for the humanities. It is highly demanded all over the world, unfortunately except the local area. One of the reasons can be insufficient training of philologists in the field of ICT and another - unwillingness of many of them because of insufficient technological literacy of their scientific potential and of computerization and digitization policies that are developing too slowly inside the local area.
