Rezumat

The Romanian language still has, due to territorial administrative determinations, regional varieties meant to individualize it from other Romance languages. They are though not enough to establish the necessity to use a literary language by speakers of the same variety when they communicate both orally and in writing. Bessarabian regional peculiarities give particular colour to the Romanian language and they are present, in artistic form, in works of writers beyond the Prut. This paper proposes a minimum inventory of lexemes in Spiridon Vangheli’s works for children. They illustrate a regional-archaic component of the Romanian language. However, there are references to the presence/absence of texts signed by this very important contemporary writer in specialized textbooks printed in Romania after 1990.
