The article goes on to discuss the problem of the so called land of Shypyntsi, military and political relations between Poland and Moldavia in the context of the history of Northen Bukovina, the problem of Polish-Moldavian opposition and borderland cooperation in the reign of Alexander I the Kind (1400—1432) and the end of Shypyntsi land.

Prezentul articol examinează, în baza analizei surselor şi a literaturii monografi ce, originea şi destinul Ţara Şepeniţului (teritoriul actual al regiunii Cernăuţi) în calitate de un component important al statului moldovenesc din jumătatea sec. XIV pînă la mijlocul sec. XV.

В статье на основе анализа источников и монографической литературы проанализированы истоки и судьба Шипинской земли (современная территория Черновицкой области) как важной составляющей Молдавского государства с середины XIV до середины XV в.
