The novel On women’s hand by Felix Nicolau is a burlesque parody of contemporary Romanian society. The author mercilessly parodies demagogues; he ridicules bovarism, stupidity, airs and graces. He is bothered by mortification and stiff thinking. He generally attacks all that is kitsch, literary produce that is culturally ankylosed. And, in order not to threaten his reader, he covers them with a halo of comic, crazy and devastating that is designed to awaken the most dormant critical spirits.
