The article highlights some historical literary data about life and career of the poet, translator, publicist and political man Ion Buzdugan. His name is a landmark in the Bessarabian poetry of the interwar period. He participated directly in the realization of the great craft, Great Unuion (Marea Unire) from 1918. The author, Constantin D. Zeletin, was a friend of Ion Buzdugan and holds much plenty of information about this brilliant personality of literature, culture and history of the region between the Prut and the Nistru. |
