In a period marked by aesthetic dogmatism and ideological stereotypes, A. Busuioc’s poetry descends from the tradition of Romanian symbolists, bringing to actuality the imperative of poetry’s return to lyricism of the original stock. In the late 50s – early 60s in his poetry can be found pronounced polemical background, a revolt against literary restrictive canons. The poet rides the ironic, the rhetoric of sentimental nature as well as plastic images of interiorized nature. These are the signs that define the creative freedom via which the author rehabilitates the primary state of poetry.
