Rezumat

Emigration for employment of citizens, parallel to the brain drain and the constant reduction in the number of active population, causes long-term adver-se effects for economic and social development of the country. To facilitate the return of migrant workers and to optimize their reintegration consist a major challenge for Moldova. Also, a priority for migration policies is targeting the investment of remittances toward a balanced development in the interest of the migrant, to the community and for the development of the economy as a whole. An opportunity for development of programs for the return and reintegrati-on of migrants in the Republic of Moldova is the international experience in this field. International experience in the research, it was found that there is not a practice of high efficiency in the management of economic migration and remit-tances, which could be implemented in other countries, the results having a mi-xed character. However, some States, taking into account the specifics of the national economy, business environment and not least of all, culture and their traditions, have been obvious successes in this respect. Such examples will be described later, citing some practical application in the Republic of Moldova.
